Macrolide antibiotic synthesized from tylosin. It has an antimicrobial spectrum similar to tylosin with enhanced activity against Pasteurella multocida and Pasteurella haemolitica.
Indication: For the control of livestock animal respiratory tract infections particularly due to Actinobacillus Pleuropneumonia, Pasteurella multocida and Avian Mycoplasmosis. Tilmicosin is also effectiv against gram-posive and some gram-negative microorganisms , spirochete, Mycobacterium, etc. It should not be used to egg producing hen and horse species.
Swine: for the prophylaxis and control of respiratory tract infections due to Actinobacillus Pleuropneumonia, Mycoplasmosis, Pasteurella haemolitica, Mycobacterium , etc.
Chicken: for the prophylaxis and control of respiratory tract infections due to Mycobacterium , Haemophilus parasuis, Pasteurella multocida, etc.
Usage Chicken: 0.4-0.8g/L aqueous solution, continue for 5 days.
Swine: 0.8-1.6g per 1 kg of feed, continue for 15 days.
Withdrawal Period:Swine 7 days; chicken 10 days. |
